How we look after the children in our care, and how we look after the information families give us.
Child protection and safeguarding
The safety and wellbeing of every pupil comes before everything else. All staff are vetted before appointment, are briefed on their duty of care, and are required to report any concern about a child's welfare to the School Head the same day. Boarders are supervised at all times and are never released to an adult who is not on the child's authorised list.
Behaviour and discipline
We expect courtesy, honesty and effort. Discipline is corrective rather than punitive: pupils are told clearly what went wrong, given the chance to put it right, and parents are informed early rather than late. Bullying of any kind is treated as a serious matter.
Admissions
Places are offered from ECD A to Grade 7, as boarding or day placements, subject to availability in the year group. We admit children of all backgrounds and faiths. Applications are handled in the order they are received; where a year group is full, families are placed on a waiting list and contacted as soon as a place opens.
Photography and media
Photographs of pupils are published on this site and on our social media channels only with the written consent of a parent or guardian. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by writing to the school, and we will remove the images concerned. We never publish a child's full name alongside identifying details such as an address.
Privacy — what we collect
If you contact us through this site, by telephone or on WhatsApp, we keep the details you give us — your name, your contact number and what you asked about — so that we can answer you. For enrolled pupils we hold the records a school needs: contact details, medical information, academic reports and attendance.
Privacy — how we use it
We use your information to reply to enquiries, to run the school and to keep families informed. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except where the law requires it or where a child's safety depends on it. Records are kept only as long as they are needed.
